Rodney Howe (aka Chopper) landed his “fish of a lifetime” while fishing with his mates ‘The Roper Barstuds’ on the Roper River on Saturday 28th July 2012. He was using a G Loomis Force Lite teamed with a Shimano Corsair loaded with 30lb braid and 60lb leader tied to Barra Classic F18 lure. Now I do not have a lot of background on this capture as it is a gift from Kim and Paul Blanch to “Chopper” for his upcoming birthday but I do know he is very happy with his catch just from the picture!
